PRE-spring/summer 2011

OK, the summer has begun (like a month ago) and i am preparing myself (and my closet) for the upcoming fall....but yesterday i received an e-mail from the people at LONDON FASHION WEEK with the announcement: PRE-spring/summer 2011 collections.

in September Christopher Kane will be showing his "real" spring/summer 2011 collection at the LONDON FASHION WEEK, i must say: i like it very much, and really LOVE LOVE LOVE the shoes....can't wait to see what this fabulous designer will bring us in September....stay tuned.

I AM SOOO EXITED....it finally arrived....my longed-for package from YOOX.WHAT IS IN THE BOX YOU SAY? well first-up is a CHAFAS from my favorite Spanish brand: LOEWE........AND finally my biggest wish this year (YES, at my place Christmas comes early) this amazing "hypnotise me" clutch from my favorite designers: VIKTOR & ROLF.

OK, what am i gonna wear with it....uhmmm....I HAVE TO GO SHOPPING !!!

GOODIE BAGS s/s 2011

front row and goodie bags, everybody loves them, but not everyone "gets" it.here are some facts and rules about the front row:

• never wear your sunglasses at the runway...it's not polite towards the designer, it's a sign of no interest.
• don't wear BIG hair accessories...if you're front row it doesn't mean there is no one sitting behind you.
• be aware of your body care...because you are VERY close to the person next to you, make sure you smell nice and go easy with your perfume, ones the show has started there is no getting out.
• do not plunder your goodie bag when you see it...you are a fashionista not an cave woman.

so with these rules on my mind, i made my way towards the door, showed my seating card and a lovely guy directed me to my front row seat, said hello to the persons next to me and set down.

above is my first goodie bag from NON by KIM, inside there was a REDKEN fan, CITIZEN M soap, a cocktail shaker from ABSOLUT VODKA and front row magazine .

my second goodie bag is from DARYLVANWOUW, this one was not as packed as the first one but OK...again a REDKEN fan and a GRAZIA magazine...IT'S NOT THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS, BUT THE BAG IT'S SELF (thanks to the pr people).

DARYLVANWOUW s/s 2011

the second show that i attended was from DDD (dutch design darling) DARYL van WOUW.
he begun his carrier at the AIFW as a student....now 5 years later he is back on the place were it all started, usually he doesn't show his collection at the aifw, so when the press find-out that he will be showing this year....WE ALL WENT CRAZY ! but i got invited....i could not believe my eyes when i received my notification e-mail.

OK, lets talk about the collection....GLOBALISATION it was called.









the colors: from beige to red, green and blue till black, all neutral no prints....BUT the garments had an amazing plead-work, knowing DARYL van WOUW this was a more demur collection, almost if he had grown-up in 1 year time, the surprise act of the show were the accessories and hairstyles (this is gonna be a HIT next year....i already want it).

I personally can't wait to SEE BUY FLY this collection.

as i made my way towards the fashion week tent, a lovely girl asked me if she may take a picture....well of course, and then TAADAA !!! thank you FASHIONSCENE.NL for this lovely picture, see you next time.

NON by KIM S/S 2011

this designer was my first show of the day....a full men's show, and that was a first as-well....i never been to a men's show, and i must conclude....I LOVE IT (i love her even more because of the front-row seat).

so, nice guy's to look at, accessories that would look fabulous around my own neck AND very nice guy's to look at. OK let's talk about the collection, lovely use of color and accessories and adored the knitwear but i didn't like the VERY short shorts....i mean COME ON !!! 1 inch shorter and the can be called DAISY-DUKES....but over-all a super fine collection....bravo.

hey, look who we have here....international runway photographer....PETER STIGTER.

i have introduced him to you about a month ago, when he waved me goodbye at fashionclash Maastricht....nice to see you again Peter.

bryanboy goes Swedish

our favorite blogger has teamed-up with our favorite retailer....H&M.earlier this year BRYANBOY visited the headquarters of H&M in Sweden for an exclusive styling session.....the retailer invited him to mix and match H&M clothing for the fall/winter magazine.

looking forward to seeing this on print....but we have to wait until Augustus/September i think, when the magazine hits the stores.

Natasha Poly as an GOLDEN GIRL in the July edition of the Spanish VOGUE.

usually i am no fan of Natasha Poly, but in this editorial i beginning to like her.....especially in that YVES SAINT LAURANT dress from the fall/winter 2010 collection (3Th pic), i really Adore this photo.

AIFW spring/summer 2011

the kick-off of the spring/summer 2011 AIFW is on the 14Th of July.

i will be attending the shows of NON by KIM and DARYL VAN WOUW on saturday the 17Th, i am really looking forward to it.

first comes NON by KIM, an innovative and modern MENS wear designer.and than later on DARYL VAN WOUW, this designer has brought street-wear couture to the Netherlands and the dutch fashion world loves him....other people also know him as a jury member on the dutch version of PROJECT RUNWAY. Daryl van Wouw has also many collaboration....to name a few: shoes for COCA COLA, a watch by TRITONI, a t-shirt for VIFIT etc etc, he also owns his own store in Amsterdam.

5 years ago a CLASSIC was born, designers duo VIKTOR & ROLF created their first women's perfume....FLOWERBOMB.

i have been a fan of the scent since the day it came out, and now 5 years later i still love it (maybe even adore it), guess who also loves this fragrance....LADY GAGA.

sooo I HAD TO CELIBRATE !!!

i treated myself to some champagne, the pinkest nailpolish and lipgloss AND a new bottle of FLOWERBOMB of-course.
