just ADORE the Jason Wu collection, especially the dress PATRICIA VAN DER VLIET is wearing (at the bottom/middle)....NYC fashion week.....so far SOOO good.

SUMMER in NYC

New York fashion week has begun, up till now there were boring shows (BCBG Max Azria), surprising shows (CHRISTIAN SIRIANO) and "seen it before" shows (NICHOLAS K....it feels just a little to ALEXANDER WANG to me)....the following shows are very nice to see and to get inspired for s/s 2011.

1) PETER SOM, 2) RUFFIAN, 3) RICHARD CHAI LOVE.

the cut, the color, the print and material use....THIS is what i wanna wear !!!

waaaaw....i have been writing this blog for 2 years now, so i have to celebrate !!!so i treated myself to champagne and cupcakes as i was resurging for other stories that i have to write, so here´s to an other 2 years (and many more) and thanks for reading dear fashion peeps !!!

a little time back, i let you know that BB visited the H&M headquarters in sweden, well TAADAA....here you can see what makes BB tic this autumn.



the look i really love from the first styling session is the whole camel look, love the cape, love the cardigan and LOVE the color, and from the second session the last outfit in total, the print was cute and the cardigan AMAZING....i think i'm going to shop at the mens department this fall.

MATTHEW'S book party.

we know who he is....but since H&M we ALL know who MATTHEW WILLIAMSON is, and now we can have a peek in his personal and business life as-well. this fabulous coffee-table book is written by fashion historian Colin McDowell, up close and personal you can say and full of fashion of course.no-one other than miss Sienna Miller has written the foreword, Anna Wintour, Zandra Rhodes, Joan Burnstein and sir Paul Smith are some of the peoples who have something to say about this british designer and will have contributions in this book.

this fabulous book will be launched on the 18Th of October and will be accompanied by a display at the somerset house in London (which will run from October till February 2011).

5 YEARS OF GLAMOUR.

5 years ago, the Netherlands received a new kind of glamour....GLAMOUR magazine that is.
we don't have a HARPER'S BAZAAR ,W magazine or (my biggest wish) a dutch VOGUE...so we are very happy with this fashion magazine, and i am proud that this version (the most daring and innovative GLAMOUR magazine of the world) is MY version.HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR GLAMOUR....and thanks for this little CHANEL present that was includes by the celebration issue....only 1 thing to say....HIP HIP HURRAY !!!

you know i love GARETH PUGH (check my piece about his f/w 2010 runway show, which i attended in march), so watch this FANTASTIC video.

usually i don't like RAQUEL ZIMMERMAN, but after seeing this amazing video, i think i'm in love with her....the moves and the facial expressions WOW WOW WOW !!!

catch of the day !!!

yesterday i had a shopping-spree in Germany and what did i see in a store window....this FANTASTIC, AMAZING and FABULOUS sunglasses from this FANTASTIC, AMAZING and FABULOUS fashion brand....CELINE !!!

i bought it right away of course, and i will cherish it for a long time (until i see and buy a new catch of the day that is).

OK, i have shown you the winner of the STYLEHUNTER contest and i introduced you to the V I P´s, NOW i´m gonna tell you all about the show it self.

it was a lovely Sunday afternoon in Amsterdam, as i arrived at the P.c. Hooftstraat, there were already people sitting front-row, i walked-up to a nice girl from the GRAZIA team....i asked her....where can i find the press seats? you can sit anywhere, she said....i looked around and more people founded seats so only a few were left....but i have an invitation for the presslist, no answer, so i continued....i have spoken with a college of you so that i can ask questions and take picture in the VIP area, i can not help you with that, she said....OK what ever !!! let's enjoy the show !!!

the music was FANTASTIC, the fashion not so....the coolest part was THE GRAZIA MIX-UP (this season hottest trends according to Grazia) and the high fashion brands.

AM I GOING NEXT YEAR??? yes of course, but i hope the Grazia will keep the following in mind: a higher runway not street level, a (little) press area, fill up the space in between models, models who love the runway and leave the dance-acts for other party's and then it's an amazing event (next year same DJ please).

first up: FABIENNE DE VRIES, what's up with that green and butterfly necklace....girl watch out for the Mariah Carey syndrome 2) GIGI RAVELLI: looking hip and fresh as always. 3) FIONA HERING: the fashion godmother in a Mona Lisa state of mind 4) HILMAR MULDER: very crisp in a colorful blouse.

and then at last my favorite girl....MARLY VAN DER VELDEN, she rocked a HERMES t-shirt with a blazer from THE GARDEN COLLECTION at H&M....i just love her style.

BUT....who was the BIGGEST star at this event....the girl is unknown to me BUT THE BAG....just how i like her!!!

GRAZIA CATWALK TEASER.

In the following day's i will be putting a few other blogs out here about this event....but i CAN show you who won the GRAZIA STYLEHUNTER contest....(isn't she lovely).it was a funny day....but for details you have to wait till tomorrow.

a FLOWERBOMB that is....as she too wanted to celebrated the 5Th anniversary of this amazing perfume by VIKTOR & ROLF.So, i made her a little black silk ribbon dress and a small piece of my bombalicious fragrance collection as decor....FOR HER IT WAS A HELL OF A PARTY !!!

there are some AMAZING pieces this season: i want that black jumper with shoulder cut-outs and brown leather bag with the gold details, that wool grey coat AND ALL THE FURRY THINGS.

on Sunday the PC HOOFTSTRAAT in Amsterdam will be packed with FASHIONISTA'S, FASHIONISTO'S, models and celebrity's....THE GRAZIA PC CATWALK IS BACK IN TOWN !!!this fashion-show is like a mini fashion week, many designer houses who has a store on this luxury street will be showing their FALL/WINTER 2010 collection, and then the GRAZIA is gonna mix it all up to show the new trends for this upcoming season.

also nice: it is the longest free seated front row of the Netherlands, so everybody can feel like an ANNA WINTOUR or CARINE ROITFELD (don't forget your sunglasses for the right look though).

AND there is a price to win....for the best dressed fashionista....you have to bring a Grazia magazine, check in at the GRAZIA STYLEHUNTER desk where they will take a picture of you, and then on the end they will announce the winner who gets a € 1000,- shopping money, isn't that FANTASTIC ? I SAY....COUNT ME IN ! (but what to wear....oooo the pressure !!!).

THE come-back of the year, PALLADIUM boots....i had the them, my brothers had them, my friends had them....i think everyone had a pear.
and now they are back and i wanna get me some new boots (like the ones Alice Dellal wears in the vid, also the white nail-polish is on my shopping-list).
nice to know, the first european PALLADIUM store will be opened in AMSTERDAM.

IT´S A MENS WORLD....

....but it would be nothing, without a women's fragrance ( a men's scent that WE love to wear as-well that is).

at this moment i am totally in love with men's perfume, and i can not give you a good reason why, they just smell F**CKING AMAZING !!! i am in a real manage a trois right now.

MY FIRST LOVE: grey vetiver by TOM FORD....this is a good man, and my first love.SECOND LOVE: bleu de Chanel....very chique and LOVE AT FIRST SMELL.THIRD LOVER: bang by MARC JACOBS....this one is just for the MASCULINE pleasure (if you know what i mean).i am done with women (perfume) at this moment, and i am planning to stick with thees men for a wail....until an other amazing fragrance comes along.
