AIFW invite: EDITH&ELLA

this Danish brand founded in 2004 by Line Markvardsen and opened in Copenhagen her it's first store in 2005....nowadays EDITH&ELLA is available in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Ireland, Japan and in the Netherlands of course....the fashion show during the AIFW will be held on the saturday the 16Th of July....STAY TUNED for my report !!!

MATTHEW WILLIAMSON COOKIE

One of my favorite English designers in a collaboration with my favorite cookie from LADUREE, this is a delicious designer dream coming true (OK, mister Williamson didn't create a new macaroon flavour but the lovely box they come in) and his kaleidoscopic butterfly wing print works for me any time. the launch will be at the start of London fashion week on 16Th of September at LADUREE LONDON and available world-wide from the start of PARIS fashion week on the 26Th of September....you know why they call it a limited edition....EXACTLY because it's on sale for a limited time....SO, LET'S GO AND GET IT !!!

AIFW invite: QUOC THANG

born in Malaysia and raised in the Netherlands, graduated at the GERRIT RIETVELD ACADEMY in 2005 where his "glorious end" collection got nominated for the Gerrit Rietveld Award, then had projects in Paris, Berlin and Shanghai but came back to the Netherlands. QUOC THANG is an fashion designer and visual artist, he creates not only wearable work but also sculptures and paintings full of fashion references.

he will show his menswear collection on saturday the 16Th of July....really exited to see this one, stay tuned for my report !!!

all-inclusive BALMAIN resort

this is the first collection by Olivier Rousteign, and it's a complete KNOCK-OUT (for a resort collection) i just adore the bell-bottom pants, his light colour use, the basic chic appearance and the golden accessories....I JUST WANT IT ALL....and i'm really looking forward to see what Rousteign has in store for us, for the winter 2011/2012 BALMAIN collection.

JASON WU for MELISSA

FASHION NEWS THAT MAKES MY DAY: one of my favorite American designers (JASON WU) in collaboration with the Brazilian plastic shoe brand MELISSA....imagine Carrie Bradshaw saying: "WAIT, i lost my WU" wouldn't that be hilarious !!!other designers who chose to go for plastic are Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier and GARETH PUGH. in this collaboration we can find a very cute ballerina decorated with the MISS WU owl logo and a peep-toe slingback with the iconic sunburst, both come in transparent grey, nude, black and burgundy....there is 1 catch....we have to wait till next spring for these beauties, but i think they are definitely worth it !!!

IBIZA part 5: GOODIES

even on my vacation i have to go shopping (it's the best part actually), the shops are different, the brands are different AND the prices are different SO, i came back home with an overloaded suitcase....let me show you some of the things i found on IBIZA: first-up are true clubbers accessories like lip-gloss (by AGATHA Ruiz De la PRADA), Mei Linda eyelashes, sparkly eyeshadow, a orange water-resistant watch and the new TOUS perfume (miss JLO is modelling for their jewelry line this season).time to hit the high-street in IBIZA town, found me a really lovely shop on AVDA Bartolome De Rosello called GALY....a fashionistas (who's on vacation) designer heaven, I'm talking about DSQUARED2, LANVIN, FENDI, ALEXANDER WANG, MUI MUI etc etc but my fashion hart melted when i saw the VIKTOR & ROLF stuff (much to expensive so, i bought me this lovely ALEXANDER WANG sweater and these colourful DSQUARED2 flip-flops).next stop: BLANCO....who's the most adorable little sister from ZARA, we don't have it in the Netherlands or Belgium or Germany SO, every-time I'm in Spain i have to visit BLANCO (was so exited to find one on Ibiza), i saw this blue strapless top in the Spanish glamour magazine AND i never can leave this store without some handfull of accessories (bracelets, headband with feathers, a ring and lovely feather earrings).there was a amazing clubbers shop right next to my hotel and they sold some really cool stuff like wigs, make-up, accessories (first picture) and clothing, saw these too darlings and couldn't resist (got some free stickers with them as-well)when i was in Santa Antoni i told you about the pop-up store from RIVER ISLAND and that i bought me a floral strapless jumpsuit and some amazing earrings, well....TAADAA:I EVEN LOVE TO SHOP WHEN OUT PARTYING SO, AT THE PRIVILEGE I BOUGHT ME THE TIESTO CLUBLIFE CD AND AT THE PASHA ALL KIND OF MERCHANDISE.of course i did some tax-free shopping at both airports, in Germany i got me some nice liquor AND my newest CHANEL it-colour nailpolish....DRAGON....really fabulous !!! in Spain i got me cute little ABSOLUTE vodka bottles and a giant bottle of eau de fleur (lavande) by CHLOE.AND THEN I WAS HOME AGAIN....PLANNING MY NEXT (shopping) TRIP !!!

lovely little wooden cabin at the water side:ME in the lovely little wooden cabin at the water side:me had a lovely refreshing drink at the lovely little wooden cabin at the water side:the GOLDEN BUDDAH bar:as i walked further down the boulevard i saw this POP-UP store from RIVER ISLAND (one of my favorite shops), me very happy seeing it here SO, bought me a floral strapless jumpsuit and some AMAZING earrings....thanks GRAZIA for not missing-out on my daily shopping-spree !!!needs no introduction i think:here at this bar, you have the most divine sunsets of the world....if you don't make it till sunset (or you had too many sangria), you can buy the mug in their gift-shop....i didn't stay AND i didn't buy the mug....(too many sangria i think ;) maybe next time.
