PICTURE PERFECT JEANS

Ever since the rise of Alexander McQueen, Photo-prints are hot hot hot....Newcomers who take these kind of prints to an higher level are Mary Katrantzou (i just adore her) and Peter Pilotto. Jeans brand HUDSON saw it all happen and joined the bandwagon, Let me introduce you the new darlings at Hudson. 
The Brand's creative director Ben Taverniti and his team created three cool skinnies for us to love: first-up a magenta and pale blue ombre floral, the second one has a tropical forest landscape (which was taken by Taverniti's mom) and last a amazingly cool night scene in London (shot by Tavarniti himself).

A voyeur at Agent Provocateur

It's very busy at the A.P. Headquarters. they are planning new shop opening all around the world and collaborating with celebs and other designers to create the perfect AGENT PROVOCATEUR brand !!!

Let's start with the Penelope and Monica Cruz collaboration, the 2 Spanish sisters are designing a second line for A.P. no not just an capsule collection or the faces of the brand kind of thing but a long-term lingerie line called L'agent and this will be released for the fall of 2013....for more info check my piece at Glamourland.tv

And then there is the collaboration with the young and cool shoe designer Charlotte Dellal of CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA. Last year she helped A.P with their ad campaign, starring Josephine de la Baume....And now they are back together to create a Charlotte Olympia shoe collaboration for A.P's premium Soiree line which resulted in 2 amazingly sexy sky-high heels, first-up the Bellatrix (a black patent leather stiletto with amazing zipper detail) and the Candice (a modernized boudoir slipper which every Carry Bradshaw lover should own !!!)

WEAR TO DARE at LANVIN S/S 2013

Right after the LUTZ HUELLE runway show, i took a good and long sprint (on my heels) to the venue where the LANVIN show was being held and i in my opinion, i should have got a gold medal for it because running on heels in Paris is not an easy job....and thank god, THE SHOW OF ELBAZ WAS DELAID....i got there just in time to see all of the biggest movie stars and the most important fashion of the world arrive at ECOLE NATIONAL SUPERIEUR DES BEAUX-ARTS !!!

Ok, let's get on with the name-dropping-show, first the regular celebrities: Kristin Scott Thomas, Catherine Deneuve, Pace Wu and Laura Smet.

Not that impressive BUT wait till you see the FASHION A-LIST: Anna Wintour, Crace Coddington, Franca Sozzani, Anna Dello Russo, Rachel Zoe, Haider Ackermann, Nina Garcia and don't forget the models: Lindsey waxson, karlie kloss, Magdalena Frackowiack and Sakia de Brauw. WOW WOW WOW !!!

Seeing my favorite American model (Karlie Kloss) ones again in Paris...made me feel a bit concerned about her health, she looked really skinny TOOO skinny in my opinion, she's even was made "bigger" with photo-shop after her photo-shoot with Greg Kadel for the Numero magazine of October....i hope that this is just a phase.

RIHANNA SHINE'S BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND

The new and improved RIHANNA is smocking HOT !!! The Barbados diamond has got her self a polished look again with her short black pixie-cut hairdo fierce eyes and smoldering red lips, gone is the trailer-trash look from her Talk that Talk period....her new album will hit the stores on the 19Th of November and this is the first single: DIAMONDS....ENJOY !!!

MARKUS LUPFER for WHISTLES

If Sonia Rykiel is the queen of knits and Azzedine Alaia the king then Markus Lupfer is definitely the JOKER in the knitwear kingdom....The designer known for his humorous use of slogans, print, embroidery and embellishment on knitwear, has something in store for us that would make us laugh of excitement....Mister LUPFER is collaborating with high-street favourite Whistles. A collection that will include hats, scarves and small leather accessories, on my personal wish-list stands the Pad case and tote bag which are printed with neon-pink and blue hearts.

This collection will hit the high-street at the end of October, I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THESE ACCESSORIES but thanks to the fashion gods i will be in London next month for my B-day shopping spree ;)

MATTHEW WILLIAMSON and collaborations is like a Louboutin's red sole....it can not exit without. There was the special collection at Debenhams, a limited edition box for Laduree, the amazing colleboration with H&M and now this British designer teamed-up with HAVAIANAS....He created two pair of wellington boots printed with his iconic praphic prints....For £85 you can walk colourful and happy through the rainy days of this fall and don't we just love that all !!!

Llovely news: MULBERRY has created an online guide for us fashionistas....NO, it's not about bags or other amazing leather goods but about good old Britain....YES, that's right a guide that can lead us through the number one fashion capitol of the world. in diffirent catogories MULBERRY tells us the best hotspots of the United Kingdom with Architecture, food, fashion, music and science, each section contains information with links to share, quotes, contributions and recommendations.  and the fun part is that there's even a "Your Brilliant Britain" section where you can add your own suggestions.

Brand Director Georgia Fendley said: “Our national identity is woven into our brand, so the project seemed to be a natural extension of our heritage and passion for the best of Britain. We wanted to do more than simply feature in an advertising campaign and we decided to create a vehicle that would champion the unsung heroes of the UK.”

LUTZ HUELLE S/S 2013

Paris fashion week came to it´s end (and with it the fabulous fashion world tour). now i´m back home, i can write my blog posts....let´s start with LUTZ HUELLE....A clean sporty and modern lady-like spring summer presentation, mostly white with a pinch of green, yellow and purple (my favorite colour by the way) the nice diamond printed silk and embroidered crystals made the crisp collection more powerful....The shoes are really amazing and they could walk right into my closet if that was possible :)

When i arrived at the venue, i received my seat....row 2 and then to be promoted to FRONT ROW....VERY NICE!!! @Coralie, thanks for the invite and hope to see you next season !!!

WHOOHOO, it's almost Paris fashion week time....i have packed my bags, bought some high-end magazines for the train ride AND made my shopping-list complete with my personal must haves which can only be found in Paris....VILLE DE LA MODE, A BIENTO !!!

CHRISTOPHER KANE S/S 2013

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTOPHER KANE COLLECTION EVER !!! usually i'm not a huge fan of mister Kane....SO this spring/summer 2013 runway show was a real surprise to me....The cropped jackets are to die for (really must get me that cool black or sweet white one, or both ;) the white outfits rock the runway, the sheer pieces are amazing and what about the shoes....let's talk about the shoes, THEY ARE TOOOO CUTE and in my opinion the new IT-SHOES for the next spring !!!

BURBERRY PRORSUM S/S 2013

WHAT'S UP WITH OUR BELOVED BURBERRY PRORSUM ??? I can not tell you if i like the new spring collection or not....what i do love are the cool plastic cropped capes and plastic bags, that beautiful lace, the trench-coats still rock the show for me, peplums are here to stay and great colour use BUT there is something about the presentation that's not appealing to me but i can't place my finger on it....OH WELL, MAYBE TIME WILL TELL !!!

THE SARTORIALIST: CLOSER

Every fashion person in the world knows Scott Schuman A.K.A THE SARTORIALIST but if you don't WATCH and LEARN....for a couple of years now he is the number one street-style photographer with his own blog which gets Millions of views every month, he is the "godfather" of bloggers everywhere, if your being asked to pose for his camera, BIG chance that you end-up on his blog or even better IN HIS BOOK !!! His first book was published in 2009 and a HUGH succes so a second one was just a matter of time: THE SARTORIALIST CLOSER

I have never met him and i'm still hoping that one day we will, BUT this new book is a true must have for me....gonna get me a fresh copy at Colette....first thing i do when i arrive in Paris for fashion week.

ALEXANDER WANG S/S 2013

His last runway collection, i didn't like BUT the Alexander Wang spring/summer 2013 presentation, i REALLY ADORE, all black and white American sports-wear with a pinch of silver, amazing new cut-outs and accessories that you just need for the next spring....Me myself and i want every single piece that you see below, that white parka, those knee-high boots, the silver sweater and that black cardigan in the last picture....No, i can not choose....I LOVE IT ALL, I LOVE IT SO MUCH EVEN FOR THIS FALL!!!

RODARTE S/S 2013

USUALY I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF RODARTE. I often don't get it....like, what are they trying to tell me, is it a story or statement ??? BUT for the spring/summer 2013 they rocked that runway collection just right !!! the colours, prints and cuts are AMAZING (i would love to wear the 3Th and 4Th outfits....just Me, just Rodarte). I already can't wait to see what the sisters of this American fashion house have in store for us next time, but first let's enjoy this one !!!
